Environmental Policy

As Selef Kalıp, we accept as a fundamental principle minimizing our environmental impact in all our activities and adopting a sustainable production structure.

In line with ISO 14001 criteria, we commit to the following through our environmental management approach:

1. Prevention at Source and Lean Design: In our CAD and design processes we apply optimizations that minimize raw-material use and machining scrap.
2. Waste Management and Correct Segregation: We collect cutting oil, metal chips, hazardous and contaminated waste from machining and assembly in leak-proof areas at source and deliver them to licensed disposal companies.
3. Efficient Resource Use: We continuously monitor chemical, solvent, water and energy use with our measurement and control equipment (refractometer and similar) and prevent unnecessary consumption.
4. Legal Compliance and Continual Improvement: We fully comply with all environmental legal obligations and customer requirements; we continually improve our environmental management system and environmental performance.
5. Emergency Preparedness and Awareness: We remain prepared for possible leaks and spills, and we keep the environmental responsibility awareness of all our employees and suppliers high.
